Web Design

My second project was redesigning a website called Pizza Jerk, which originally had no functional content and only displayed memes. To bring it back to its purpose—selling pizza—I maintained the humorous tone but introduced a cohesive arcade-inspired theme. I redesigned the menu, incorporated pixel-style graphics, added custom icons, and even turned the cursor into a slice of pizza. The final site balanced functionality with fun, creating a user-friendly experience while keeping the original quirky personality.

Fabled Friends was my first website project in Web Design I, where I turned an AI-generated prompt into a full creative concept. I developed a whimsical wizard-and-witch-themed online pet store, complete with original fantasy pets, magical product descriptions, themed food items, and typical pages you’d expect from a real pet store website. This project allowed me to experiment with branding, layout, and storytelling while practicing essential web design fundamentals.

For my third project, I designed a website for Cozy Commons Café, a dual-purpose café aimed at college students. The concept features a calm study environment in the morning with coffee and workspace features, and transforms into a social cocktail bar in the evening with events like karaoke, game nights, and movie showings. The website includes a menu, events page, meet-the-team section, contact page, and an online ordering system for in-store pickup. This project helped me focus on audience-driven design, usability, and responsive features.
